Springboard Meeting
Dear Friends and Supporters,
For more than seven decades, the Oregon Federation of Republican Women (OFRW) has stood as a cornerstone of political activism in our state. OFRW has consistently championed education, engagement, and advocacy – empowering women and communities with the knowledge and resources to understand government and policy, and to take an active role in shaping Oregon’s future.
Our mission is clear: to turn Oregon red by energizing political involvement at every level and promoting Republican principles through informed action. We believe that an educated electorate is essential for a thriving democracy. By equipping our members and all Oregonians with tools to navigate the political landscape, we foster meaningful participation and ensure our voices are heard on issues that matter most.
This campaign year is pivotal for Oregon, with the governor’s race representing a critical opportunity to shape our state’s direction. In addition, several key legislative initiatives demand our attention and action:
Kicker Rebate Reform: Proposed reforms to the state’s “kicker” rebate would let voters decide whether rebates above $300 million should be shared with the state.
Transportation Funding and Road Maintenance: Transportation is a major issue in the 2026 legislative session, as a funding shortfall at the Oregon Department of Transportation threatens essential services like road maintenance, snow removal, and DMV operations. With transportation taxes headed to the ballot, it is critical that voters are informed and conservative voices are heard.
State Budget Shortfall and Fiscal Policy: Balancing the state budget is a central focus of Oregon’s even‑year legislative sessions, and in 2026 lawmakers face added pressure due to reduced state revenues following changes to federal tax law. As a result, legislators must consider spending cuts, use of reserves, or tax‑code adjustments; decisions that directly impact businesses, funding for education, healthcare, public safety, and other essential services Oregonians rely on.
These legislative topics are just a few examples of the dynamic and multifaceted debates shaping Oregon this year. Every year, legislation is proposed that has a direct impact on families and on businesses in Oregon. As an organization, OFRW is committed to educating voters, and advocating for policies that reflect Republican values and strengthen our state.
We invite you to join us as a sponsor and partner in this crucial effort. Your support will help us enhance outreach and empower more women and communities to actively participate in Oregon’s political process. Together, we can drive positive changes and ensure a brighter future for Oregon.

We appreciate your consideration and commitment to public service. We look forward to your involvement and partnership as we carry forward our tradition of advocacy and leadership in Oregon.
With gratitude and determination,
The Oregon Federation of Republican Women
